This week I was fortunate to meet this family of keen runners; they all compete in triathlons even the kiddies!

The location of choice.

The stunning Pandanus palms just up from Labalsa park make for awesome backgrounds for portraits,

this was our first port of call. With this shot I positioned the family and basically told them to have chat

and check out the beautiful scenery around them, snapping away I got this shot.

Now I know they’re not looking at the camera but it’s so natural, the colours the interaction and the light

at that time were just magic, none of this cheesy posed glamour photography, my images are about

creating a story within the image while still being visually stunning.

The family was stoked with their images so mission accomplished, being a photographer

Is so rewarding in the fact that you’ve created these memories for people,

they will look back in years to come and reminisce of the good old days.
